A failure person can become a winner, but a loser can never become a loser. Losers, in my opinion, are the ones who never try, who accept their failure before trying anything new, who fear doing new things because they are afraid of failing, who are afraid of what others will say, who are afraid of how others will judge them and loser person always do what others ask them to do and losers never learn new things, because they always have a fixed mindset towards their goals.
Whereas a failure person can be a winner because a person fails only when he is trying something new, making mistakes is a sign of trying, falling is not a problem but not standing up again is, and that is the huge difference between a failure and a loser, failures person fall but stand up again with a best solution and move on towards the journey, whereas losers are afraid of falling so they never to take a risk. If they had acted like losers, they would not have had such huge success, for example, Steve Jobs failed but didn’t give up and was eventually able to bring huge change in this world, Mark Zuckerberg failed but didn’t give up and faced huge success, and almost all successful people failed but refused to become losers, they fell but they didn’t give up.
Here are the eight distinctions between winners and losers:
1. Self-driven
Winners know what they want from life and what they want to do with their lives, so they never take no for an answer. When they face a setback, they self-motivate themselves and move on with more energy and enthusiasm, they come up with solutions, they never quit, and they never stop unless they achieve what they want.
Michael Jordan said, “I have missed over 9000 shots in my career; I have failed repeatedly in my life, and that is why I succeed.”
2. They are students.
Losers have a losers mindset; they think that learning doesn’t help, that having information doesn’t pay you back, that luck is everything, that whether a person has knowledge or not, if they have good luck, they can accomplish anything, and this type of attitude never enables them to develop.
A winner understands the value of learning new things and acquiring information because they are smart enough to see that they do not know everything, and they recognize that knowledge has tremendous power, therefore they read to learn.
They think that books contain valuable riches, and they understand that in this world, everyone they encounter will undoubtedly know something new that they do not, so they never act superior or arrogant; instead, they are modest, friendly, and down to earth.
3. more accountable
Losers enjoy playing the blame game; at first, they never do what they want; they listen to others, they do what others ask them to do, they never express their opinions, and they never make their own decisions; they do this so that they can later blame others for all the wrong and bad things that happen in their lives; winners, on the other hand, take full responsibility for their lives; they believe that what happens to them is their fault.
4. Optimistic
Being positive is one of the major differences between losers and winners. Winners are always positive thinkers, they always see positive things in every situation, they never take tension for too long, feeling tensed and nervous is normal, but stretching that tension for too long will not correct the situation, so they become positive about the situation because they know that positivity will open doors to opportunities.
As saying goes, be careful of what you say because you are being heard.
We have the power to regulate our emotions, and it is up to us how we want our brain-mind to feel, therefore strive to be positive in any situations, since this kind of conduct will not only make you feel good but will also take care of the health, and as we all know the health is riches.
5. Concentrated, action-oriented, and a dedicated worker
Losers are easily distracted, and their focus shifts easily, and they are unsure of what they truly want to do with their lives, whereas winners always stay focused, they are passionate, they know what they truly want to do and where they see themselves in 5 years, and winners not only think but take actions and work hard in order to achieve their dream life, they don’t b
6. Never cling to anything.
Loser person always sticks to one thing and crib about it; if something goes wrong, losers either blame or crib about it and easily quit, whereas winners never stick to that same thing; they always try to find a solution, because they know that regretting will do nothing but waste their time, and time is very valuable, so they move on and try new things.
7. Flexible
Winners are not scared of change; they are steadfast in their objectives and passions, but they are flexible in their tactics because they understand that changes are a part of life and that they must embrace and adapt to them.
8. Never go along with the flow.
Winner person never go with the flow; they act for their goals and passions from the start; they don’t wait until it’s too late. For example, there are many people who believe that they should go the way life takes them; they don’t have plans and goals for their lives; they just go where life takes them; and one day, a problem arises in their life and no matter what they do to come out of it, they don’t come out of it.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts on the differences you notice between losers and winners, and what you believe is the difference between winners and losers.
Nice blog post. I struggle with being a positive thinker and focus due to many prior failures; sometimes it’s difficult to regroup and try again. Never considered the difference between failures and losers before. Food for thought.
Thank you… Yeah, you are right…
